Patricia Sanchez
Head of Ballet
Born and raised in Mexico, Paty was surrounded with dance throughout her childhood as her mother is a Dance Teacher and Examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Paty started her training at her mother’s RAD Dance Academy in Acapulco, Mexico. In 2008 she moved to the UK and enrolled herself into the Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London, successfully completing the course in 2011 receiving her RAD teaching certification.
Paty gained experience working as a professional dancer in the UK and Dubai; dancing in various Street/Hip Hop crews, Musical reviews and Brazilian shows.
With over 10 years of successful teaching experience in different genres of dance Paty’s main focus now is Classical Ballet, especially the Higher Grades and Vocational Syllabus which are her strength, enabling her to follow her passion and share her knowledge with her students.
Paty is very happy to have rejoined the Turning Pointe team in September 2017.
