Donna Dempsey
Founding Principal
Donna Dempsey, trained at the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) in London. After passing her R.A.D. Teaching Certificate, she went on to attain the R.A.D. Teaching Diploma.
Donna has broad international teaching experience in Classical Ballet, commencing her teaching career in the U.K. then moving to Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia. In 1994 Donna moved to Dubai to open her own dance school, The Dance Centre Dubai later changing the name of the school to Turning Pointe. Under Donna’s guidance, Turing Pointe thrived and grew until it is now a school of over 30 studios nationwide with a faculty of 18 staff. As the Principal of the school, Donna prides herself on developing professional teachers reach their full potential and giving all students the change to achieve their very best, alongside developing a love of dance.
